Our Story

From a spare bathroom to 20 printers—and counting.

In June 2023, Benski Builds began with a simple question from my dad: “Do you want my 3D printer?” He had just moved to Utah from Missouri and didn’t have space for it. I’d always been curious about 3D printing, so I said yes. Within 24 hours, I printed my first dice tower and I was hooked.

Fast-forward a few months: I married my amazing wife, and that one printer quickly multiplied into three. Soon, they took over our spare bathroom. My wife, ever supportive, gently encouraged me to find a better space or find a way to make money with them. So I moved them into the basement... and bought two more.

Within 72 hours, I launched my Etsy shop. One sale turned into many. I bought more printers, added more listings, and signed up for my first big in-person event: Shop Fest 2024 in Eagle Mountain, Utah. That moment lit a fire.

Together, my wife and I dove in. We started hitting local events, like farmer’s markets in Utah County where we made our first hundreds in sales. That’s when it felt real. Today, we own 20 3D printers, sell online and in-person, and average four live events a week.

This side hustle has become a full-blown passion project and by January 2026, my dream is to make Benski Builds my full-time career. We've already brought joy to thousands of fans and shoppers with our unique, quirky, and practical 3D creations.
